Can I choose my billing date?

You can choose the day your premium goes off your account when you get your Sanlam Indie quote.

Pro-tip: we’ll cover you from the day you accept your quote, so if you take out a policy on the 3rd of the month and choose to debit your account on the 1st, you’ll get almost a month’s free cover!

Can I delay my policy start date?

Yes. When you go through our online quote process, you can select your preferred billing date (the day the money goes off your account every month). If you choose to delay the start date by more than 35 days, we won’t offer you cover until your first premium goes off.
